Pianist Alla Voskoboynikova, along with Brian Woods, the Music Director at the World Chess Hall of Fame, stopped by the studio to talk about the upcoming music series concert at WCHOF featuring Alla along with Jane Carl on clarinet, Bjorn Ranheim on cello, and Xiaoxiao Qiang on violin in a program called “The Great Beauty.” The program includes music by 20th and 21st Century composers Leonid Desyatnikov, Mieczyslaw Weinberg, Valentin Silvestrov, and Nino Rota.
