Tom Sudholt Celebrates 40 Years

A message from Julie Schuster:
This month marks a special anniversary for one of our hosts at Classic 107.3. Tom Sudholt is celebrating 40 years in radio broadcasting! Despite the fact that this message will certainly earn an exasperated huff and an eye roll from Tom, I think it’s important to acknowledge this incredible milestone. Tom has been with Classic 107.3 from the very beginning, lending his expertise and distinctive voice to help shape this station into what it is today.

When I first started at Classic 107.3 as a volunteer, Tom shared his zeal for classical music and advised me on everything from programming a shift to the pronunciation of operatic arias (he still does… he just can’t help himself). Tom’s encyclopedic knowledge of classical music continues to awe his colleagues, and his passion for this art form makes all of us better at what we do every single day.

With all that said, I hope you’ll join me in embarrassing Tom a little by showing him your appreciation for four decades of incredible work! One great way to do that is by supporting the station where Tom continues to devote so much of his time and talent with a donation of $40 to celebrate 40 years. You can also send him a congratulatory note at tsudholt@classic1073.org or with this form. I know that he’d love to hear from you!

Let’s celebrate Tom by reaching out and raising resources that allow him to continue to fill our days with beautiful classical music… or, as Tom would say, the “finest that humanity has to offer”.

Sincerely,

Julie Schuster
