Musical Ancestries™: Algeria

Musical Ancestries™ is a program created to inspire school-aged children to explore their musical and cultural heritage and develop an appreciation for others’ traditions. It is designed to create a pathway to understanding and acceptance as children explore the great diversity of our community.

In this episode, listeners will travel with Kyle to Algeria. Kyle’s friend Mustafa shares his native country as the pair visit historic areas such as the Casbah and experience the history, music, dance, and culture of this intriguing area of the Maghrebian region of North Africa.
