World-renowned conductor Leonard Slatkin hosts a screening of the 1977 science fiction drama Close Encounters for the Third Kind, written and directed by Stephen Spielberg. John Williams composed the soundtrack, with a solo especially for Slatkin’s mother, cellist Eleanor Aller.
