October 19: Israel in Eqypt by Georg Frederick Handel’s biblical oratorio, composed entirely of selected passages from the Old Testament, mainly from Exodus and the Psalms. Written in 1739, Israel in Egypt is performed by the Music of the Baroque.

October 26: Acis and Galatea by Georg Frederick Handel, considered to be the pinnacle of pastoral opera in England and possibly the greatest pastoral opera ever composed. Acis and Galatea was composed as a courtly entertainment about the simplicity of rural life and is performed by the Music of the Baroque.
