Job Title: Development & Volunteer Coordinator
Position: Part-time, $20-30 per hour
Job Location: Clayton, MO, United States
Job Description: This position performs a variety of development tasks, including donation data entry, printing thank-you letters, organizing volunteers, assisting with special events, and meeting other needs of the Development Department.

This position is part-time, Monday-Friday. (A few weekends may be required for special events.) The position requires approximately 20 – 25 hours per week and is non-exempt. A flexible, hybrid work schedule is optional and at the discretion of the CEO & General Manager.

Job Requirements: · Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree required

· 2-5 years nonprofit experience

· Raiser’s Edge data entry experience required

· Basic knowledge of data reporting and fund raising practices

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Advanced knowledge of Excel

· Volunteer recruiting and management experience preferred

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Confidentiality when working with sensitive information

· Strong organizational skills for juggling multiple tasks and deadlines

Job Responsibilities: · Performing day-to-day responsibilities including entering gifts and pledges, ensuring proper recording, tracking, and reporting of all donations in Raiser’s Edge

· Entering donations with 100% accuracy

· Generating acknowledgment letters and receipts for gifts in a timely manor

· Preparing and mailing solicitation letters

· Running donation reports in Raiser’s Edge as needed

· Executing donor profile updates as needed

· Assisting CEO & General Manager and Development Director as needed to reach fundraising goals

· Working as a member of a small staff to reach common goals

· Assisting with the planning and logistics of special events as needed

· Assisting with recruiting and managing small groups of volunteers
