Job Title: Accountant/Bookkeeper
Position: Part-time, $25-35 per hour

Job Description: This position performs a variety of accounting tasks, including entering receivables/payables, payroll processing, check printing, reconciling, invoicing, and some Office Manager and Human Resources tasks for a small staff.

This position is part-time, Monday-Friday. This position is approximately 20 – 25 hours per week and is non-exempt. A flexible, hybrid work schedule is optional and at the discretion of the CEO & General Manager.

Job Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience is preferred

· 2-5 years of accounting/finance experience

· Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation

· Experience with Intuit QuickBooks Online preferred

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Advanced knowledge of Excel

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization

· Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner

· Nonprofit accounting experience is preferred but not a requirement

Job Responsibilities: · Performing day-to-day bookkeeping responsibilities including cash, receivables, payables, fixed assets, advertising invoices, payroll, credit card receipts, general ledger and financial statement preparation using QuickBooks Online database

· Performing work in accordance with GAAP

· Responsible for internal policies and procedures and staying compliant with payroll and labor laws

· Recording donations and performing quarterly reconciliation with the Development Department

· Monitoring bank account balances and transactions

· Assisting with any Office Manager/Human Resources related tasks including processing employee paperwork and insurance

· Aiding in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines

· Providing accurate reports for CEO & General Manager and Development Director for all board meetings

· Reporting to the CEO & General Manager and Development Director
